Pros

Depending on what department you're in, you might get to work on interesting projects with smart people. Job safety. Work on own products instead of outsourced projects.

Cons

If unlucky, you may get stuck fixing bugs on products that are in the maintenance stage. For years. The initial salary offer is OK especially at junior developer level, but subsequent raises are unimpressive, generally not even covering inflation levels. Training opportunities are limited.

Pros

Really good environment and space. Managers and team are cool. Never had to work overtime or too much.

Cons

Pay is average by industry standards, nothing too great. Managers and technical leads are often at odds. Bonuses often awarded to management at the expense of technical talent, while we're told company didn't do too well this year, so here's your pittance.

Pros

The culture, the amount of trust and freedom put in its employees. How you grow in this company is up to you, which makes this place an awesome place to work. Word of caution though, if you're not a self starter and a person easy to demotivate, then this place is not for you.

Cons

Salary, benefits are not good.
