Pros

Management tries to be open, honest, flexible Company is generally stable due to financial model. As with any growing company, there are pain points and opportunities Several very technical leaders Great people to work with / culture of knowledge sharing, not hiding knowledge for fear of losing job security.

Cons

Sometimes management is overly optimistic / altruistic. Career opportunities from applications engineering to R&D are still a very big pain point. Tangible benefits (e.g. salary) on low side as a consequence of aforementioned business decisions to remain stable.

It's okay if you don't want to move up

Pros

It's an easy environment. The campus is very nice and the people are kind.

Cons

You can get by doing minimal work which often leads to people who are undeserving landing higher positions because of tenure and not skill. Intelligent people leave due to this all the time. (Not to mention the salaries paid are not close to similar positions at other companies)

Pros

Great people, management really seems to care and has been trying to compensate for complaints employees have made in the past--especially about salary. There always seems to be room to grow/move up as long as you're capable of looking ahead and being proactive about your career. A lot of times an employee's only obstacle is himself/herself and not management.

Cons

It takes awhile for upper management to implement changes. They can keep departments in a holding pattern for months until a decision is made.
