Pros

Good company with good intentions. Management tends to have best interest in mind, and is focused on long-term growth. Lots of smart, good people around you and interesting problems to solve. Reasonable expectations for work:life balance

Cons

Compensation sometimes is below the level of talent, and Im a bit skeptical of some of the future drive to the "performance oriented culture." At other companies thats often the sign of a migration into a very cutthroat environment, which NI has been great at avoiding.

Nice Company, Not Exciting

Pros

There were a lot of nice people, a fairly relaxed culture, and a really nice office location.

Cons

The company didn't show much growth and the yearly meeting was focused around convincing everyone that there wasn't a retention problem. This didn't seem like the up and coming exciting place to be, that it kept trying to convince people of.
