What a pity...

Pros

Great learning experience for post graduates and young managers. Environment pays off (until you try to advance your career but you realize that's not possible).

Cons

The company is preparing to become a 'high-performance' one. With poor results so far. It underwent some major structural changes lately, with the result of promoting extremely young and unexperienced, but accommodating, employees and walking out more senior and skilled, but less manipulable managers.

Pros

You can learn a lot in your field as you are exposed to opportunities. As with any opportunities you get what you put into it. At least at NI you can get them.

Cons

R&D management constantly make business decisions over customer impact too often. If you are raised through NI, you are told you are the "best and the brightest", even though you have no experience. So those who come in with experience run into a lot resistance and have to prove themselves more than the the "best and brightest".
