Pros

It is a great culture right out of college. You will meet a lot of people your age and really kickstart your new life. Everyone at NI is very social.

Cons

Compensation is a constant problem. They will promise you year after year they will fix your pay. You end up doing more work and taking on more responsibilities with the “promise” to be paid fairly. When raise time comes around they ALWAYS find an excuse to not give a raise. I had colleagues who deserved 10% and got ZERO.

Cons

- Always playing catch up to make salaries competitive. - Work Experience < College Degree. - Technician career advancement is an afterthought to management. - Technicians make close to 1/2 of an engineer
