Pros

Very competitive 1st year commission compensation. The Term Life product has a lot of built-in features that are not typical of the industry. IUL is a high participatory cap rate and competes with Securian, Allianz, and others very well.

Cons

Underwriting is glacially slow. Anyone you speak to that is a non-producer has the sense of urgency of a Government employee. The company is older than MassMutual and many other Life Insurance carriers, but is still virtually unknown. Practices feel ancient.

Pros

Flexible, everyone is very friendly and personable regardless of role (entry level to executive).

Cons

Not enough data, standard work, or attention on analytics. Seem to be working on it but slow moving and behind industry norms.
