Pros

Work in beautiful places with people who love the outdoors. See and do amazing things on a daily basis. Not difficult work, plenty of opportunities to do a variety of different jobs and details

Cons

Jobs drying up as we "do more with less," lack of manpower and funding to make needed repairs, many employees are very cliquish depending on where they work and how much they "bleed green and gray"

Pros

Fantastic place to work- great working environment. Visitors are very friendly and rarely complain. You also get to work in some of the most beautiful places in America.

Cons

The hiring process needs to be looked at. You must take a survey and be approved by HR before a Park looks at your resume. Parks are told from an HR office who they can and can't hire

Pros

Good job assisting parks, working at unique, clean, safe, heavily treed facility located near Potomac River.

Cons

National Capital Region managers since 2011 are inept, dysfunctional; harassment and bullying common.
