Pros
The National Park Service is a great place to work for all the right reasons associated with any other federal government employment. You have great benefits, a decent salary, and a lot of time off. Other than that, it's a great place to meet people from around the world and it is a fulfilling career for a short amount of time. At some point, however, you may want to move on to a less routine career (unless routine works best for you).
Cons
Unfortunately, competency is not the greatest asset of your superiors. For that reason, you may see rather arbitrary policies and workplace conventions. Other than that, it's a pretty good job to have, especially while in college or shortly thereafter.
