IT LITERALLY PAYS TO HAVE AN EXTENDED FAMILY
Pros
ADVANCEMENT, OPPORTUNITY, FAMILY, FUN, SECURITY These are just a few words that immediately come to mind when I think about this amazing company. I started with the most basic entry level position there could be in a store- the receptionist. I was part time and had no optical knowledge. Little did I know, this would be a life changing opportunity for me. I took a temporary part time job and was provided the knowledge and skill set to establish a career I now love! There is always someone to go to for support on any level. There is always opportunity for advancement. There is always an open door policy for communication with all levels of management within the company. I literally just had a face to face conversation with the CEO! He's awesome I must add! Most importantly it is a company that honestly lives by the principles it speaks. I will never forget being critically ill and off work for a period of time, but they company was extremely supportive during my recovery and I never felt my position would be in jeopardy in my absence. This is a company that truly cares and is willing to invest in their people and their community.
Cons
Not many. This is not a hire to fire company. I would suppose that the cons would really only stand out if your values are not in alignment with those of this company. I do think an update on some of the technical hardware (specifically computers) would put a smile of many of our faces.
