Pros

Good benefits. Clean and comfortable work place. Generally pleasant coworkers.

Cons

"Attitude" is valued and rewarded in place of actual skill and experience (as in the willingness to check your brain at the door and pretend to enthusiastically support existing priorities/policies regardless of how flawed and ineffective they may be). A spirit of innovation is generally received as a threat to the status quo, not as an asset.

Pros

Nationwide is flexible with work/life balance and gives work from home options. There are plenty of groups and events to get involved with outside of the day to day work.

Cons

Nationwide lacks transparency across the organization and doesn't address rumors. Leadership acts in the "Nationwide Nice" manner and problems are rarely addressed and just expected to be waited out.
