Pros

It offers a paycheck. Opportunities are available if you smooze your manager or get in good with upper management.

Cons

Management keeps employees in the dark during most major issues. Most issues are handled where bs goes downhill so even if you bring up issues, it becomes a more serious problem you have to deal with in the future instead of looking for ways to correct the problems.

Pros

I can feed my family and pay the bills. Many good people at Nationwide and most have good intentions, even at the senior leadership level.

Cons

Senior leadership has more confidence than ability. They should stay in positions that they are good at and have real experience with. Benefits have gone down hill and the costs have increased.
