Pros

As a midwest firm, there are still some midwest values in place. This can be good and bad at times.

Cons

You can make more elsewhere, but remember many firms out there could care less about you and will fire you wihout a moments hesitation. You may not get rich at Nationwide, but you can make good money and have a work life balance.

Pros

Educational reimbursement but even if you learn all there is about insurance you can't move up. Until the recent stratification you could earn a decent living. Turned totally call center and not insurance oriented. Don't trust the Sales People they know nothing about insurance.

Cons

No one cares about the customer
