Nationwide was a good company that lost its way

Pros

Good commercials. Other than the advertising campaign I don't really see what they are doing well. Do they want to be an online company? Or agent supported? Your guess is as good as mine.

Cons

Lack of vision. Too much politics. No accountability for messing up. No praise when doing a good job. Losing to allstate and state farm.

Pros

The benefits are nice and time off is fairly flexible (except for busy season). They value giving back to the community.

Cons

Difficult to move around to me, each department is like and isolated group of people. There have been many changes in leadership recently so it seems like we are all being shuffled around.
