      Pros

      pay great people to work with continuously learning various locations if mobile fun at times good hours good vacation time

      Cons

      Clicks in management affirmative action company-continually promotes minorities that are not qualified can not move up unless you move not much support for work life balance too many managers without experience most operations or chance for promotion will be in OH

      Pros

      Fairly stable company with decent workload in the claims department for Texas. Volume was not as hectic as compared to my last claims job.

      Cons

      Career path very limited on claims representative desk job. Lateral move to bi or material damage was a lot more responsibility and not much more pay. Seems claims department is constantly being changed by management. May have to do with all the sister companies purchased by parent company Nationwide. Career development forces individual to consider home office as viable option for serious growth. Managers always seem to be not empowered by the company.

      Pros

      The time off that is given and flexibility that management allows you to work to balance life/work. The benefits of having special events for employees with local company is great encouragement to buy local products.

      Cons

      It very hard to move internally to different position within the company. Management is not always willing to work with people to encourage them to further their career. Give the support to assist employees to get into a position.
