Pros

Great co-workers. Reasonable commute to office.

Cons

Incompetent and disrespectful management. Salaries significantly lower than other companies. Unrealistic expectations - ie. too may claims per employee.

Pros

benefits are good they offer tuition reimbursement, if you qualify Medical plans are average but expensive Retirement benefits are great

Cons

always being threatened with coaching and/or termination raises are little to none very little opportunity to move up in NSS because they would rather hire someone externally with no knowledge of Nationwide guidelines or systems even though you are allowed vacation, sick or personal time, you are restricted on when you can use it and run the risks of not being able to sell enough policies if you take off Tenure with Nationwide does not matter at all when it comes to bidding for schedules or vacation time

Pros

Great work environment, I greatly enjoyed how Nationwide did business and how they treated their employees, I am hoping to get a permanent position

Cons

Working with some customers can be a bit of a headache but that is just part of the job .
