Pros

as an internal at Nationwide the work load in my specific situation isn't bad where I can have a good work life balance. Also as an internal being metric based there is a feeling of job security within the role. Nationwide is also good at finding what job is a good fit for an individual once in the door. Pension still exist.

Cons

compensation not the greatest low commission on sales less than 5 bps low target commission promotions not to often being a large company health insurance surprisingly high cost for family plan.

Pros

The company is large and there are opportunities to move to many different locations if you desire.

Cons

The leadership throughout the organization create such a toxic culture but it’s incredibly insidious. The kind of place that seems good on the surface but you don’t realize it until you are out how bad it was. Also, no matter what they tell you - their pay and bonuses DO NOT compare to the market. Find something elsewhere, truly. There are so many places to work. This is NOT IT.
