Disappointment

Pros

Trust-based working hours Awesome people on my team

Cons

Merger led to a lot of chaos and lots of vacancies in the products department. There are no bonuses whatsoever. 2023 layoffs were a cherry on top that led me to leave a review here.

Extremely Problematic

Pros

Basic benefits and salary but not much else other than relying on the enthusiasm of young, naive artists feeling privileged to be a part of the brand

Cons

In my personal experience, toxic company culture that fostered: - Buddy system/favoritism (leading to set-up-to-fail confirmation bias) - Poor boundaries and their breakdown over time - Work/life boundaries seen as lack of commitment or discontentment - Disempowering systems, dysfunction, and confusion as norm - Burnout, constantly ill employees - Toxic positivity, passive aggression, dishonest and passive communication - Healthy, direct communication perceived as offensive, hurtful, or problematic - Discrimination on multiple levels (I ignored the many racism/sexism claims online only to find out how pervasive they are) - Performative activism that doesn't support true inclusion - Fixed mindset that resists meaningful growth

This company has become a joke

Pros

I am not sure I can even think of one at this point. Maybe that the works council at least tries to protect us.

Cons

I don't know where to start. This company has become an absolute disaster since Francisco Partners got involved. It has been a constant rotating door of executives ever since. Including the last CEO and CPO resigning without even delivering the news to the company themselves like absolute cowards. After years of dangling salary benchmarking in front of us they finally did something, which was really truly nothing. They rolled out "Adjustments" which were really just what most people deserved in their annual review to make people not realize they cancelled the benchmarking process all together. The biggest joke now is the whole people organization who seems to lack a single competent individual amongst the bunch.
