Pros

Endless opportunities to climb the ladder. Tasking provides a direct impact to the Fleet and the warfighter. Circle of influence is larger than at a Warfare Center. Ability to work with civilian and military personnel.

Cons

No overtime opportunities. Must commute to/work in D.C. Work-life balance - there is a culture to support the mission/get the job done while there are not enough billets to do so, therefore workload is heavy.
