      -Access to more knowledge of the defense industry - Ability to work on high-dollar value deals - Very prestigious in the defense procurement area - Good training if you want your career to be in procurement

      Cons

      - Poor leadership skills in management - Large difference in experiences and responsibility levels given to employees - Difference between what was told during hiring and reality - Could be staffed on very interesting projects, or could be doing mindless work all the time

      The benefits are good. The pay can be very good; in fact, they probably pay more than anyone else will, for the same type and quality of work.

      Cons

      PSNS expects employees in production shops to work weekends and extemded shifts, routinely. "7/12's" are commonplace.

      Pros

      If you are looking for a long career within the government, this is a great place to start your career. There are ample opportunities to transfer within the internship program and plenty of places to go once the internship is completed.

      Cons

      - Many people have the mentality of "I'll get to that tomorrow" - Sometimes there are needless meetings - It's government, so it's hard to get fired, which translates into having people who don't necessarily know what they're doing at the upper management/supervisory positions
