Pros

One of the main advantages of working in the Navan is the fast-paced and dynamic environment, which keeps each day engaging and full of learning opportunities. There is a great deal of freedom to explore new ideas and suggest improvements, fostering creativity and a sense of ownership. The work itself feels meaningful, and it’s fulfilling to see how individual contributions can make a real impact on the team and the organization as a whole. This combination of autonomy, purpose, and growth makes the workplace both stimulating and rewarding.

Cons

Long working hours and high demand.

Pros

Free lunch every day, good enablement program, fun social events for reps, lots of really smart people and a decent product.

Cons

Culture and professionalism are abysmal at Navan. Sales org operates like a fraternity; one big popularity contest of sales bros. No one gets promoted (though they will claim there is ample room for promotion, it is simply not true. In my time there, I only saw 3 SDRs actually become AEs. The rest were strung along or promoted to ‘talent accelerator programs’ where they are essentially doing the same thing for longer and same pay.). Pay is terrible, they do not contribute to your 401k (stingy), no one hits quota, and those who do are able to because they are the golden children of the sales org. Huge issue with disconnect between leadership to sales team; things are not communicated well, policies change every few weeks, and the only people it affects are the reps who are treated as disposable. Complete burn and churn operation. The turnover is crazy, I would say less than 20% of reps stay here longer than a year. If you want to learn and grow as a seller, experience professionalism, and move out of the SDR seat anytime soon, I would go anywhere else. Genuinely anywhere else. Especially if you are a woman, would not ever recommend that a woman works here.
