Pros

The products and industry is great. Lots of potential to change the way people view the industry and make some money at the same time. Not bad pay. Some really good people here. With some really good middle management.

Cons

Overworked and understaffed. Its all about the money. Work vs Life balance is way off. High stress and work load. Not bad pay but you will be expected to earn every penny. Senior Management is never happy with sales, Company is about profit first...quality second. Its like fixing a plane that they wont allow to land. Constantly buying other small non money making companies that put the parent company in debt.

Pros

Variety of projects keep it interesting, fun group of people, laid back casual atmosphere (yet professional), company does nice things for employees like celebrating holidays with food and other fun events. Even within the first week of employment, you will notice the great culture and friendly/welcoming working environment that they have cultivated in Tulsa. Many companies have to work quite hard to achieve what Navico has. Yes it is fast paced with much work to accomplish, but it is rewarding work and the amenities offered to the employees are nice and appreciated - wonderful kitchen/break area with coffee bar/cappuccino machine, exercise gym downstairs, nice modern facility and work areas, café/salad bar and grill downstairs, even a ping pong table down the hall! Our manager makes sure employees have everything they need to perform their job from office equipment to any training or conferences as necessary. Manager in this department treats employees with respect and shows confidence in them. Coworkers are so friendly yet professional when collaborating with other departments. It's exciting to be part of a company who is growing fast globally - it is very fast-paced work and never a dull moment. For those who are hourly employees, there is a close watch on overtime so the employee definitely has work-life balance which is greatly appreciated. Something to consider- waking up in the morning going to a job you truly enjoy working with people you respect and who appreciate/value you, feeling like you make a difference, and fulfilling your career goals, sometimes outweighs a high-paying high-stress job with high-profile title.

Cons

No profit sharing plan or bonus program for employees and wait 2 years to be fully vested in 401k. Feels short-staffed at times, too much work for one person sometimes but that is job security!! Company growing fast globally, may be challenging to keep up with the evolving work loads and with the different time zones of other employees.
