Pros

Many benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, paid holidays, sick and vacation time. There's rare opportunity to move aboard and more options for a transfer across nation with company. Great opportunity for Navy dependents with a continuity program.

Cons

The growth potential has seemed to dwindle in the years since I've started. There also seems to be a disconnect in many areas from corporate level to the store interactions.

Pros

The pros are intangible: You work for the Navy, supporting Sailors, which is a pro only if it means something to you. You get limited shopping privileges, which is nice.

Cons

The company culture is skewed, in that it believes that it is retail store rather than the support service that it truly is given that it is a part of NAVSUP.
