Government Job - Job Security Decent Pay - Not as good on the incentives but base pay is in line Amazing mission - serving the military and their families Growth Potential - Growth potential is through the roof Global Opportunities - Can work anywhere there is a Navy base (Greece, Italy, Hawaii, Guam, Japan, all over the US) Work Life Balance - true work life balance and that is rare in retail

Cons

Information Systems - antiquated Pay Incentives - retail bonuses are lower than average politics - cant always just make things happen sometimes have to go through big Navy Old School thinking - people don't leave which is good and bad, when people don't leave change is slow

* Great pay for the kind of work * Early morning hours (3 am to 7:30 am...or sometimes 8:00 am...or 8:30 am...or past 9:00 am) meant that the rest of the day was free

Cons

* High expectations; wouldn't be a problem for people very experienced with this kind of work * Difficult to commit to other jobs because of the demands of this one (even when trying to carefully plan ways for neither to interfere with the other)
