Rollercoaster workplace

Pros

The majority of people are pleasant to work with and the laid-back dress code is a major bonus. Flexibility on hours is also a huge plus.

Cons

Very relevant to right now (March 2020) an employee's family member has tested positive for COVID and they have NOT CLOSED DOWN THE OFFICES. Clear disrespect for employees. Hey -- our CEO is NOT a health expert and should NOT BE MAKING THESE CALLS. By far the most naive move I have seen so far. Have you not seen the updates on Italy? You do NOT care about your employees well being. What happened to our "core values"? --- Also! Rapid turnover in some departments, "leaders" who bully without consequences, uncertainty about future.

Good ole' boy club that is understaffed

Pros

Flexible, good people, always something to learn

Cons

Very much a good ole' boy club. If you go out and drink with the right people, you'll make it far in this company. After a history of "rightsizing" employees are left with way too much on their plate to be effective. Constant management changes and reshuffling. Management is never around. Negotiate the salary you want during your interview, don't expect raises or your salary to change, even if your role, responsibilities, or title do. Benefits get cut on a whim (i.e. training, education reimbursement). Good luck getting budget to do much Performance reviews (4x3's) are useless
