Business Outlook

Pros

You get your paycheck every two weeks. That's about all I've got. Oh- and you get to enjoy A/C while slaving away, I guess is another one.

Cons

Although the responsibilities of the role and what it contributes are vital to the overall success of the business, you and what you do holds no real value to those depending on you to handle the enormous workload with unreasonable deadlines they have placed upon you. The Manufacturing and Production side of the business takes top priority, and.. it's almost as if they (production, plant mgmt team, upper level mgmt team) see the customer as more of a "thorn in their side," rather than the LITERAL heartbeat of the business. This makes our job as customer advocate extremely exhausting.
