Pros

The staff here really believe in the mission of helping the community. You can feel that most people want to make a difference. Pay and benefits are fair and stack up well against other places. Leadership has also made smart moves to keep the organization stable—even while other healthcare places are laying people off or closing.

Cons

The hiring and onboarding process needs work—it can feel slow and unorganized. There’s also been a lot of changes in leadership lately, especially at the VP level. And, in a story as old as time, when a Black leader advocated for DEI&B, some white leaders didn’t back him up, and he was let go. Now we have a temp CEO who doesn’t seem to care about DEI&B, and that’s been really disappointing. It’s hard to see a place that once felt progressive and inclusive go backward.
