The mission of the Head Start Program and giving back to the community.
Cons
Senior leadership is untrustworthy and deceitful. I have serious concerns about how they are using Head Start funds to pay for their vacations, duplicate conferences, and giving NHA employees raises over Head Start employees.
Flexible when I needed to leave for the occasional child care emergency.
The work environment was great, I loved the participants and my coworkers. It was like a second family!
Cons
As with any job some situations can be frustrating but I always received a lot of support and great feedback from my longtime supervisor!
