Pros

The benefits are good, and if you're not at the director level, your peers can make it bearable. Also, having the brand on your resume for people who aren't marketers is good, but if they are in marketing, you get the side eye.

Cons

-Directors don't take input from managers or contributors -If you're not a referral, you feel like an outcast -Lack of maturity with systems or processes -Silo'd departments make you feel like a gear in a machine -Clients pay for the name, but don't get the "Neil Patel" experience

Pros

Neil Patel has a name that rings within the industry, and it's a bit of a head start in conversations with new clients or marketing peers. Also, the office is nice, although it's not a comfortable place to spend time which makes it not so much of a "pro"

Cons

The list is much longer than any employer should ever be able to accumulate, but the only relevant truth is this is not an ideal place to spend a short or extended portion of your career. - Nobody here listens. The people who are hand-selected by those hand-selected by Neil and the management team will never be able to listen to or take criticism. Your voice quite literally doesn't matter. - Don't ever want to do more, which is so backward. The vision painted when coming in is that there is collaboration and a self-starter mentality will be welcome, but if you ever try to rise above the box you've been placed in, be prepared for negativity and then retribution shortly thereafter. -There is an underlayer of an "it crew" mentality in this place that stinks. It's not about qualifications, or performance, it's all about who you know or who brought you in, and those people can do no wrong. They (management) will look directly past those that truly want to help take the company to the next level for those that they are comfortable with. - The work product suffers because so many are so overworked and unhappy. Clients consistently think they are going to get a "Neil Patel effort" and instead are getting executions that are being delivered by a crew that can't provide that (no fault of their own). -Silos galore. There is nothing about this company that feels connected or collaborative. I had college projects being done at the last second while all members were hungover from the night before which felt more coherent. - Lack of a clear vision. There's no doubt that the executive staff has a vision that they share behind closed amongst themselves, but to the worker bees, nothing of the sort is ever presented. It is to be considered your honor and privilege to make them money and build the business, but if you want to learn or share in the vision, you'll only get corporate-speak in quickly thrown-together meetings or emails to shoo you away.

Pros

Through my agency life, there was never a balanced lifestyle. Sometimes I loved the brand so much that I did not even get an opportunity to work with challenges. Sometimes I do get a lot of challenging tasks to complete but the workplace pressure puts all out! At NPD India, i've been working close to one year now and got into the office during the Pandemic (When most of the companies did not hire or pay). Joined remote, working from the comfort of home due to pandemic but the team was so accommodating in understanding the limitations as i work from home and also helped me plan my activities load as I had challenging tasks with the projects that NPD India was working on. I find the culture encouraging and strong to push you take new roles and challenges within the firm at the same time allowing me to balance my work and personal life situation. NPD India being one of the sister agencies in the global map, the international collaboration with other offices from Brazil, US, Australia was a killer. I had never been part of live stream before every office talks about their cases, best practices and tricks. Working here for almost a year now, have won 2 times EOM (Employee of the month) for my efforts, happy to get recognized.

Cons

I am new to the remote culture, i am getting used to the reporting structure, it's pandemic that causes me to list and miss the office scenes. I might have to remove this as con, once i start working from the office.
