      Valuable in a Resume, Horrible in Reality

      Pros

      You work with some of the most beautiful products/brands and get to help important and wonderful people

      Cons

      The culture in the store is absolutely atrocious. The employees act like they are the millionaires that you all are serving and are beyond rude and entitled. Customer service is only a priority for the most elite clients, otherwise the store couldn't care less about it's customers from the store manager down. Favoritism and discrimination run rampant, this employment was a great learning lesson but a terrible place to work.

      Pros

      Decent hours. Store closes earliest on Michigan Avenue, so your never there too late. If you need US citizenship you can find a young HR executive to secretly marry you so that you can stay in the country.

      Cons

      Incredibly slow and boring most days. Some managers do absolutely nothing, while others act manic and crazed, not professional at all. If you are so burnt out that you can’t get through the workday without throwing a fit and freaking out, it’s time you throw in the towel. OPS managers who spend more time in the store restaurant than anywhere else.

      Bad set up. Rude, Incompetent, unqualified managers in some department who are only intersted in their own benefit. One of the reason the company the way it is now is because of bad management. It used to be a great company to work for, all of a sudden they lost it. It became a HOSTILE WORK ENVIROMENT.
