Pros

Surrounded by fabulous luxury designer clothing... Well that's until 70% of them were removed from this location.

Cons

This location lies to employees to get them to join the team. No training. Managers are clueless and do nothing but gossip all day. The Store Manager and most of the executive management team are useless and do nothing but walk the store and pretend to be important. No appreciation for staff. Turnover rate way too high. After a year of my resignation 35 of the 50 co workers also resigned both management and sales specialists. You cannot pay your bills because customers are groomed to wear the expensive garments you sell them and return them next season or 5+ years later. This is why most employees actually owe the company money because of the high abisibe return policy, which in fact is not a policy at all.

Great for Retail, Horrible for IT

Pros

- Discounts only, even then their stuff is still over-priced - Some get to leave early on Fridays in the summer (only some)

Cons

- Lots and lots of egos - Tend to think they are more of a fashion company than retail - Fulltime corporate employees are expected to work long hours and weekends, but oddly Sr. Management does not - Politics, kickbacks, you name it and they do it

Pros

The EDP training program is great if you are looking to break into the corporate side of the business. Everyone is very friendly both in the stores and corporate offices.

Cons

The pay is not great. Assistant buyers at NM make much less then they do at Saks. Even JCPenny pays WAY better. While there is opportunity for a yearly bonus and raise it is so small that it is almost insulting.
