In spite of efforts by CIO, there's so much wrong that NM can't fix it fast enough. Company morale is dismal and management doesn't care -- they say they do, but it's just lip service. Some managers are openly hostile to their workers. NO BONUSES for lower than a Director and vacation policy does not allow any days to be rolled over.

This is the first company I have been in, where employees bags are checked when they leave the corporate building. That shows how much trust Neiman Marcus has on its employees. In fact that pretty much sums it all when it comes to management. There is a huge discrimination between employees and contractors, even when celebrating success. IT Leaders only micromanage people on time - like time they came into work, time they spent drinking coffee etc.
