Pros

The discounts are great for employees. That's about it.

Cons

Worst of all is the management in the store. Never have I expericed such an unprofessional work environment. Karen Katz herself should do some re evaluating of the executive team in the Paramus location.

Pros

Decent pay and benefits, fun and challenging. Loved most of my coworkers. Learned customer service and sales skills from the best. Fabulous discount.

Cons

It's still a sales job even though you're not on commission. You have the constant stress of making your goals. Is you make you're goals they are raised every season. If you miss your goals then you will be threatened with losing your job. Not much upward mobility.

Pros

Discount on expensive clothing. Learning new fashion trends! Diversity. Performance driven opportunity! Decent pay structure. Work from home option. Advancement steady with politics involved within year and a half!

Cons

If someone does not like you, you will not succeed well. Bare minimum, you will keep your position but only those who kiss up and allow management to belittle he or she will be put in position to get the best opportunities and make the most money. VERY CORPORATE. Tax write off for hiring certain employees.... They expect you to work lots of over time, although, they formally claim that this is not mandatory; just know that you are judged off of your work ethic; it's not a 9-5 40 hour work week job: health, life balance are at risk.
