Pros
Our facility maintained it's Cummins roots as long as it could. Very focused on safety and quality was everyone's job. We had a lot of strategic meetings where everyone's ideas were heard. They "retired" the "growth at all costs" CEO and brought in a sane person with reasonable expectations.
Cons
Small town mentality at this facility. The top staff often retaliated against people they didn't like. Being an outsider it was easy to see how they treated people who weren't in their clique. Work-life balance completely fell apart as they tried to expand at all costs. We lost most of our upper management in the two years I was there. Corporate often forced programs and ideas down the plant's throats. Senior staff would often cause trouble with our customers, as they still saw themselves as part of Cummins.
