      Not happy at all

      Pros

      I just started this year.... Remote life is nice. Benefits are great.

      Cons

      I am not sure if I made the right decision. I heard the new management is horrible from the reviews and the old managment all got get go and they were amazing. So far I do not like it here. We have no direction, my managers are un-experienced and so clueless at everything. I might as well work at the grocery store.

      Pros

      -Pay is good, but given all of the negatives/cons below, it was not worth the daily frustration and aggravation.

      Cons

      -As long as sales goals are being met, nobody in leadership seems to want to make the hard organizational and administrative decisions -Sales leads the organization at all costs, literally all costs...with very little process in place or respect or deference for other business units. -Little executive support for any non-revenue generating/operational departments (Finance, Ops, Marketing, etc)

      A tough review to read, but I really do appreciate you taking the time to post it. I would have loved to have had the chance to talk while you were still at Neo4j. It's always hard to address concerns like this when they have not been brought to my attention. I'm so sorry to hear this was your experience and impression while at Neo4j.       Great company, poised to keep growing but dealing with growing pains

      Pros

      Great culture, bleeding edge product in the market. wonderful colleagues and comradery.

      Cons

      You need to make sure you're goals are aligned with your management. Misalignment can easily cause you to miss your target, especially if you're not getting what you need to be successful, resulting you being sidelined, regardless if you're doing a great job. Neo has lost some great talent and leadership because of this. Neo4j has been growing fast in 2017, with a drawback that it has been focused on hiring senior (Director/VP and up) and becoming top heavy, instead of focusing on getting skilled boots on the ground in the field. A limited technical career path as it is a small company.
