The people that have stayed are great to work with. There’s a good work life balance, if you set boundaries.

Cons

A culture of complacency has set in, with the company resisting fresh perspectives or new ways of thinking. Certain departments are bogged down by pettiness, where individuals focus on enforcing flawed processes that add little value and make little sense to most of the team. Leadership across departments is weak, lacking vision or forward-looking strategy. The prevailing mindset is “do just enough to get by” and react to problems as they arise, rather than taking a proactive approach to prevent issues before they occur.

Great mission and interesting content work! Biotechnology work that sustains food and animal safety across the globe. Opportunities to work with colleagues overseas.

Cons

Working out of the headquarters in Lansing, MI is toxic. It's best described as a small-family business (with squabbles/drama) that outgrew itself but still has that culture. Very high turn-around in the brand/communications department.
