VERY high turnover rate throughout all departments. Low compensation compared to any other company in a similar field. They don't have job postings because they are expanding, its because people get hired and 90% run when they get the chance. They treat you only as a number. Management can get away with person attacks against their employees. Fist fights have happened in the warehouse and no one was fired, they were just separated. Disgusting curse words yelled from one female to another and before it was over, the one yelling the most disgusting things ended promoted. BUT they will allow you to be fired without giving you cause because KY is an "at will" state. If a manager doesn't like you, they will find a way to get rid of you. Management cares nothing about their employees, they only care about setting the goals at a % that will get them their bonuses and make them look good to corporate. If you stay there long enough, you will get promoted without actually earning it. Good examples of that are in Lexingtons Nandino location.

I will start by saying that I had no direct manager for the majority of my time with Neogen because they were unable to hire anyone for over 7 months, and once they did hire someone things only got worse. I was regularly spoken down to and misgendered by the majority of my coworkers, as well as by management and HR. I once asked for a document to be updated to accurately reflect my gender identity and pronouns, and by the time I left, months later, it had still not been updated. There were also instances where my supervisor's mistakes were blamed on me, causing me to have to work late and still be punished for something I had no control over. I have also heard from a friend who worked for Neogen that she personally had her data plagiarized by a supervisor and another person had similar experiences of retaliation for reporting issues within the company. If you value your mental health at all, do not work here.
