Insulting pay! Some employees have been with the company for over 8 years and still make only $2 - $3 above minimum wage. Every employee below management level is underpaid. They will refuse to pay what you deserve regardless of the fact that you will be overworked because they want to save money by keeping hiring to a minimum. They will ignore your bonus if you don't ask for it. You're working to feed big investors with zero return and they will rub it in your face every quarter to tell you the company makes millions more and you only see about a 20 cent raise out of it after making $11/hour for 3 years with a Bachelors Degree. You will live in your parent's basement forever if you don't die first from the asbestos is all the old buildings the company is located in. The work environment is filled with frustrated employees. All who depend on each other to make a day at work endurable. Very high turnover. Everyone quits, no one gets fired. You will start looking for another job in 2 weeks. Unprofessional environment. Very laid back, employees get away with anything such as coming to work late, watching YouTube and sports on the computers while there is work to be done, treating customers poorly, terrible attitude towards work, vanishing for hours at a time with no explanation, taking extended lunch hours, and the list goes on. Usually these are the odd ones out who disrupt teamwork and nothing is done to rectify the situation even with multiple complaints. Do not work here if you are interested in a career. It's not even like a real job. Lack of recognition. Lack of appreciation. A complete morale killer. On the bright side they will buy you a half a sub from the crappiest sub shop in Michigan once in a while. Lots of false advertising. No reference to the fact that every employee is only there for a steady paycheck at 30 - 60 % les than what they will make elsewhere. Listen to the majority of reviews here. I would challenge neogen to interview each employee outside of management and publish the reviews. DON'T DO IT.
