You are a "Nerd" now! Projects are interesting Some of the best engineers to work with

Cons

Leadership is aimless Managers are straddled with breaking bad news to their employees but have no ability to help employees succeed Domain leaders are constantly encouraged to work on initiatives but all of the deliverables for those initiatives are ignored

Pros

No restriction on remote work is huge. The culture is very inclusive and welcoming. There is a variety in project work. The company seems to be interested in improving its processes. Company social events do exist, but I didn't feel obligated to attend.

Cons

This company always feels like it's moving in multiple directions at once, so a feeling of instability at the top and middle layers. For example, in the 4 years I worked there, my department (Business Analysis) was stood up, absorbed into the strategy unit, then absorbed into the delivery unit, merged with the product practice (which was doing the same job as us, just with newer and sexier lingo), then absorbed into the strategy unit (which, incidently is a different strategy unit from the first one, since that one disappated shortly after we were absorbed by deilvery). I guess what I'm saying is that the org chart can get messy. Also if you have allergy to buzz words and talking about how to build products over actually building them maybe avoid this place. Also they took away the free snacks when they moved locations in 2020 so that's a big minus.
