Pros

The only positive aspect of Nespresso is their benefits. They have generous benefits.

Cons

Nespresso cares very little about their employees. They constantly push their employees to sell at any cost. For example, where I worked, we were pressured to sell as many machines as possible. If we didn't meet goals, we were shamed. There was no incentive to sell, though, because the store was inside a Macy's, and the Macy's associates received commission for our hard work. Most of all, Nespresso does not care about woman. I was sexually harassed by the assistant manager, and when I reported it to my manager she accused me of lying and said it was "time to move on."

Pros

In the year I have been at Nespresso I have observed a lot of growth in terms of the company and professional development. Although I have only been here a little over a year I am impressed at the level of commitment, passion, and dedication from people. A lot of focus on coffee and the company cares a lot about its customers and employees. I have witnessed colleagues on my team get promoted, visit our AAA farms in Costa Rica, and Colombia. I mean how cool is that? At the end it's what you make of it because I can tell you other companies out there do not offer half of what is presented at Nespresso when it come to opportunities within the company, at Nestle, or internationally.

Cons

Very fast environment, challenging work, and office can use some sprucing. Other than that I have not experienced anything negative personally

Dear Nespresso Employee, Thank you for your positive review, we’re proud to offer competitive benefit programs and great perks to our employees, and you’re right, we do sponsor trips to coffee farms and much more. The US market is growing at a rapid pace with high achievement goals, our teams have a winning drive and I’m always extremely pleased by each department’s efforts to deliver the best service and quality product to our customers. As an update, I’m happy to share we’ve recently moved and built a new corporate office that better reflects our brand and promotes our sustainability initiatives. We continue to communicate through the channels you mentioned, and we’re also connecting on our new internal social media platform called Workplace, where I hope you will connect with me to continue sharing your feedback. Thanks a lot, Guillaume Le Cunff President & CEO, Nespresso USA
