Pros

Great company who cares about their employees. This company invest in training for all employees which is extremely important. Listening to our CEO speak is very inspiring because he listens and takes action when there is a concern. This makes me want to continue to give my all and contribute as best I can. The entire home office team is personable and very welcoming. They encourage you to reach put to them for any reason, at any time and you will get an immediate response .

Cons

Technology is challenging for the customer facing employees. They know this is a concern and reassure us they are trying to fix it.

Hello – Thank you for your enthusiasm and comments about your experience as a Nespresso boutique assistant manager. I am happy to read that you are enjoying your job and the benefits that came with it, from employee discounts to professional development trainings. When my schedule allows, I enjoy interacting with Nespresso employees, listening to them and also answering their questions. In the newest boutiques, we have now introduced a new technology that allows the Boutique Coffee Specialists to take orders on a tablet and fulfill them in a more efficient and customer-friendly way. Also, on a global level, we are working with Nestlé teams to review and enhance IT processes. Upgrades are in the pipeline. Thank you, Guillaume Le Cunff President @ Nespresso USA

Pros

Working for Nespresso has really shown me how much a company can care for a company, it's employees, and its business practices. It feels great to come to work and feel that family feel every day, but also be a brand ambassador for such a great company that I can feel passionate about. Great benefits for retail! Some of the best in the industry; with quarterly and annual bonus, discounts on products, free products and credit to use in store an online up to $1200 a year.

Cons

Technology is our downfall, but the company is working hard to improve this. Sometimes it can be difficult to understand who is in charge of what department, with so many departments controlling multiple aspects of the company.

Hello – we appreciate your feedback as a new Nespresso employee. We are glad to read that you feel right at home in your Boutique and are a proud to be a Nespresso Ambassador. We thank you for such commitment! Being part of the Nestlé group allows us to provide employees with competitive benefits to enjoy, in addition to our great coffee perks. Technology is our soft spot but we are now introducing new tools to alleviate those issues, and ultimately optimize the customer experience and improve efficiencies. On the Employee Portal, you will find the organigrams for each department under the Functions tab. You can also send an email to corporate communications with specific questions. Thank you again, for taking the time to express your thoughts. Your feedback is greatly valued. Guillaume Le Cunff President @ Nespresso USA

Pros

They offer good employee discounts and perks. If you are a coffee person, it's the best place to work

Cons

On my Interview day, they promised me to give me 30 hours (4 full shifts) with full benefits include health insurance, but they sent me 20 hours part time that doesn't have insurance and other benefits. They still schedule me four days, but it doesn't go more than 30 hours. The schedule is the worst part. When the employee asks something, they only think about themselves, and they won't honor their words

Hi – Thank you for posting your feedback. I am glad to read that you enjoy our benefits and coffee perks. Regarding your comments on your working hours, it is difficult for me to fully assess your situation. Your schedule is determined by the weekly hours agreed in your offer letter. I would advise you to speak to your HR Manager and your Manager to find common grounds. Should you like to provide more specific information regarding your experience, please contact me or our confidential employee help-line at 888-424-2409. Thank you for your input.
