Some great people that try to build solid culture

Cons

Frequent layoffs C-Suite that's more concerned with their own bonus than what's working for customers or employees Recruiters that will push you into a job that isn't aligned with what you applied for to fill positions even if they are below your skill set Absentee leadership Toxic leadership Regular firing of competent people every six months They allow "leaders" that are complaining to their teams about how performance of employees is affecting the leaders' personal bonus. They don't like to pay people what they are worth. If someone has 12+ years of relevant experience, they will try to hire them as a level 3 (3-5 years experience)!

This company has a history of doing great things and there are still some employees who embody the old NetApp. If you are brought in by a former manager, especially from Microsoft or Cisco, you will be fine and red carpet will be rolled out for you. If you are cool with risk, this is the company for you. The company is not afraid of getting sued!

Cons

The products are falling behind competitor, especially compared to Pure. Leadership is horrendously bad and getting worse. They hire their friends and clear out old employees, literally blaming leadership failings on "needing to get the right people in".
