The job they placed me in was a terrible fit, and I told them that. They left me to fail there. The client informed them at 9am that my contract was ended at the end of the day. The recruiter didn't call me to let me know I'd been let go until well after 5pm when I was half way home and had already had a super awkward conversation with my boss since I learned I was let go by my account being disabled. They promised they'd find me a new opportunity as soon as possible. I never heard from them again.
A new recruiter that I'd never interacted with before contacted me three years later on LinkedIn when my profile says I'm not open to new opportunities and I just started a new job three months ago. The salary he mentioned was too good not to at least ask for details. He wouldn't give up the company name without a phone call. When I asked why waste each other's time with a call if it's one of my no companies? He's ghosted me after that. I guess I'm not the good fit after all.
