Good company with clear direction and a good CEO
Pros
- Passionate leaders with clear directions and expectations. Those who don't have the company's best interests in mind are quickly weeded out. -Leadership is working very hard to redefine the culture and ensure employee satisfaction -Smart peers and interesting people to work with. -Interesting and fast paced industry with a lot of interesting projects. -Good pay and great benefits; no premiums on health insurance, great 401k, although not fully vested until after 6 years.
Cons
-My biggest gripe is the lack of uniform or up-to-date software that each department uses. This creates huge inefficiencies that could be easily fixed if we just stopped using 45 different software from the 80s and got all the departments aligned on using the same software. -Depending on the department, you could end up being micromanaged, or not managed enough. Disparities in department structuring results in either top performers who never moves up due to lack of openings, Or promotions that happens based on your likedness even if your work sucks. -Raises are a flat 2% no matter what. -No gym -Small cafeteria with boring choices And not many restaurants around the area. Lack of recognition programs for employees.
