Pros

- Friendly team - Free milk

Cons

- Culture of internal political games - No standards in any area from competence models up to corporate structure - They do not care about education, skills and professional development, the only things that matters is experience with their product - Communication with management is clearly absent. Nobody in teams knows the corporate strategy. Not do functional managers - Management team is totally unprofessional and proud about that

Pros

NetCracker is a big company with start-up spirit. You you are young, self-motivated, full of ideas, open to travel and would like to see the world - this is the company for you.

Cons

Top management is too conservative, hard to embrace new ideas. Once ideas accepted, the implementation of them in product is taking too long so customers sometimes lose interest or find better deals from competitors.

The worst place I have worked.

Pros

I struggle to think of any. Depending on your role you can get to travel. That's about it. That and the fact that if you make the mistake of going to work for this company, the mistake will be short lived as you will either quit or they will fire you in short order.

Cons

It is the least employee-centric company I have ever worked for. Instead of trying to make it a good place to work, they approach it like you need to justify your employment everyday. The entire culture had the feeling of "tell me why I shouldn't fire you." Every story of former employees ended with "And then they got fired." Additionally, the company's entire business model is built on exploiting off-shore development resourses, paying them pennies and billing them out at close to $1,000/day. They do not value their employees at all and treat them like they are worthless raw materials, and it shows.
