As a result, roles that are no longer aligned with the new direction are eliminated. If your position is impacted, there's typically no prior warning. You might find a sudden meeting with your manager on your calendar, during which you're informed that your role is no longer required. Access is revoked immediately after the call, and severance—usually between three to six months—is provided. Job security is ZERO, and it's not a place where you can expect long-term stability. However, the experience of working at Netflix is so impactful that many find it difficult to adjust to any other company afterward.
