Pros

- Some teams are very advanced and industry leaders. - Steep learning curve - Laidback culture in general - Work/life balance at its best

Cons

- Lot of bureaucracy and delays - Although there is a lot of effort to tackle this, the environment is still unfriendly for some minority groups

Pros

Above average base salary for area. Working hours are fair. Work life balance is better than most. Access to company benefits scheme. Good sick pay structure. Majority of work is planned relatively well.

Cons

Very slow progression to more responsibility. Some outdated work practices. Face fits mentality with nepotism in places. Ageing workforce. Poor overtime and shift enhancements in pay. Lots of Chiefs and not enough Indians comes to mind.
