      Old boys club / Constant change, not progress

      Pros

      Overtime wasn’t often needed. Work / life balance easier to maintain.

      Cons

      The darker your skin or more ethnic your name, the less progression there is. Toxic old school management styles and a lack of knowledge about the policies. A lot of empire building without care or regard for the tax payer. Staff are obsessed by salary bands which is unhealthy. Advise to only go in at a band you are happy with as you probably won’t be able to progress easily.
