Pros

Free tea and coffee. Social life okay Get to go home earlier on special days.

Cons

Change is impossible and feared. No procedures to work to. Dangerous document control system no idea on approval status. Bad vibe in the office, office poltics. Little interaction with other teams.

Pros

Great pay. Sundays are not part of the working week so if you want can have every sunday off. Best pay is for working sundays though. Great people. Skilled job.

Cons

Can get a bit boring if you're working a lower grade or on your own.

Fascinating and interesting Industry, I would make the most of the industry you work and get to know it so you can truly understand how your role fits in.

Cons

Management structure (non Engineering), many staff have been within the industry for a long time and get promoted through the years of service, many lack the 21st century attitude and indeed lack crucial management skills.
