Pros

Many training opportunities, and personal development through work. People are generally nice.

Cons

Some managers are not delivering work for a few years, and they are still there…. Lack of efficiency due to a large organisation. Many hard working contractors to cover permanent employees inefficiency.

Best job I've had to date.

Pros

Pay is great for the role. When things run smoothly shifts are very pleasant. 12 hour shifts mean an average 3 days at work a week, and plenty of premiums too (Sundays/Overtime/Bank holidays/Nights ) so advertised pay is never what you actually receive.

Cons

365 days a year job. Shift work. Do have to work weekends etc.

Pros

Flexible, hybrid working, pension options

Cons

Poor leadership and management, mixing their power and roles, very duplicitous behaviours, little value of staff and their abilities, promotion is nepotistic, lot of politics running beneath the surface with a total lack of strategic direction and strategy at all levels.
