Rewarding, if you can stand the pace.

Pros

Relative stability and security due to the relationship with funding through the ORR.

Cons

At senior levels, hideous hours, with no expectation of work life balance - 70 hours a week minimum. Painful to get change implemented.

Pros

Great people delivering something very valuable to UK plc, there are such a wide variety of opportunities in so many different vocations and locations across England, Wales and Scotland and best of all the industry is rapidly growing. It is a forward looking cmpany that has historically been resistant to change and still is to a degree but wants to change that.

Cons

Frustration that sometimes it is a little difficult to get things done because of the size and complexity of the organisation.
